OhMyGawd.... Man, I LOVED Star Trek!
It was such an awesome movie And the casting was incredible!
Chris Pine looked amazingly similar to his father in the movie
and everyone gave such great performances!
Most notably Zachary Quinto (Spock), who really impressed me.
What a complex range of emotions he had to portray.
I've never watched the actual series but I've gotta believe they definitely did it justice.
Anyways, I've got more to talk about than just movies.
LoL but quickly I just want to mention that I really want to see
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
(I can already tell it's gonna be one of my favorite movies)
and I still have to see the Princess and the Frog.
Oh, and I almost forgot Sherlock Holmes!
Definitely gotta see that, but there's just something off
about the thought of Holmes as a sexy action hero...
Okay, I've been thinking of a few things.
One: college is much less exciting once you're done with
your liberal arts requirements, there are much less opportunities
for exploration. You can't just pick up an elective for the fun of it
because you've got to stay so focused on core classes or risk falling behind.
I can't figure out who I am and what my interests are with these kinds of limitations!
It just sucks, but I think I've expressed these feelings before.
Also: another thing that has been plaguing my thoughts lately is my future.
lol no surprise there, huh? I dunno, I've been struck with the sudden urge
to relocate to Japan, [partly due to watching Lovely Complex lol], but
the process seems like such hell. Which is a shame because I honestly
wouldn't mind teaching English for an income. Then I thought,
"Well, if I stay in America I can move to New York but what do I really want to do?"
I know I like fashion, and I want to stay in and around the industry, but it does get to
be sort of a headache constantly reading about ALL the lastest collections and
designers. Sometimes it's just too overwhelming keeping up. And oh gawd is the
field competitive!! But I might like to do some catalog modeling and fashion photography,
maybe on-set styling. LoL and if at all possible, I'd love to also do some musical theatre,
tap dancing, and circus performance. :D
But whatevers, my head is spinning, and I don't want to unload all my baggage on those
who actually read this thing... just felt like rambling, I guess. :)
Have a great new year all!
